  • First, it was American Soccer newsbreaker Taylor Twellman dropping heat: Then, came the story that Sacha Kljestan might be moving to New York as well. Damn son. Jurgen Klinsmann did not comment.

  • MLS released its schedule Wednesday, with plenty of titillating matchups. Orlando City will be on national television 16 times, more than any other team. (Really?) As far as your must sees...
  • But right, we need a season and that means a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Both sides think they can hash one out before the start of the season. Todd Dunivant: "I'd say the tone between the two sides is better than last time. I think there's mutual respect from both sides. Both sides want to get to the same place; they want this league to get to the same place. There's not a lot of things checked off the list yet, there's still a lot of work to be done on both sides." Right. Stay positive but maybe don't hold your breath just quite yet.

  • Brian Sciaretta eviscerates soccer in the New York City area.

  • Mark your calendars:
  • Prince Ali Bin Al Hussein is running against Sepp Blatter for FIFA President. Will he win? Sounds doubtful: "While Prince Ali’s decision to stand may be a popular one in western Europe, and some parts of Asia and the Americas, the prospect of a new FIFA president after the May elections remains a distant one."
