Clint Dempsey: "I would like to continue playing for the U.S. team, but that depends on performing and getting called in. For me, I would like definitely to push to play in Copa America. It's a tournament that I always valued and wanted to participate in but never got the opportunity to."
Making his 14th consecutive appearance(!), Landon Donovan discussed the evolution of the MLS All-Star Game: "I think this year I'm realizing more than ever how important this is. There's tangible energy around this place and that's really cool. We haven't always had that. Last year was the same in Kansas City... Now this is a game that guys really enjoy coming to. We enjoy being a part of. When you have the opportunity to promote our game and our league, we want to do it."
