  • Air Klinsmann? Air Klinsmann. (It’s exponentially better if you mute the video and play “Danger Zone”)

  • ASN tactician Liviu Bird broke down Saturday’s game, namely Chris Wondolowski’s positioning and the team’s struggles with possession.

  • Steve Goff sifted through the USSF tax records from April 2012-March 2013. The federation’s highest-paid employee, Klinsmann can make it rain (and/or buy more small helicopters) with the $2.515 million he collected. Despite being fired in the summer of 2011, Bob Bradley was paid $530,000. Since this included Olympic bonuses and NWSL contracts, three women’s national team players ranked among the top 10 highest-compensated. Alex Morgan led the way, bringing in $282,564.

  • Juan Agudelo got his first start for Utrecht on Sunday, going the full 90 in a 1-1 draw with Dutch league leader Ajax. Agudelo supplied the assist on Utrecht’s equaliser with a pretty flick-on header.

  • Mike Magee missed Saturday’s game with food poisoning, but Klinsmann says the "door is open" for the reigning MLS MVP. The U.S. boss added that Magee’s “best argument is, like Wondo's is, scoring goals” for his club. With a precious few chances to impress in the coming months, Magee should probably stay away from any questionable food.

  • FIFA announced the World Cup base camps for all 32 teams. We already knew the U.S. would be stationed in the city of Sao Paulo, but nearly half of the teams will be based in the state of Sao Paulo. Nobody is in Manaus, which is disappointing.
