  • Jurgen Klinsmann left Clint Dempsey off the United States roster because he needed the rest. Dempsey, ever supportive, offered the following: “I wish them the best. I had a good conversation with Jurgen, and I look forward to 2015.” The Americans take on Colombia on Friday.

  • Go make your Starting XI for that game right now.

  • Would you like to know what jersey Alejandro Bedoya's Colombian grandfather will be wearing to the match? "That’s a good question. He is a big fan of Mario Yepes, so after that game in Philadelphia I got him Yepes’ jersey, so he has that one. But he’s also got a couple of mine, so I don’t know which one he’ll be wearing this time. He’s living in Colombia now so I guess it’s a game-time decision. My dad is my biggest fan, and although he’s got a lot of Colombian roots, he’s been a big USA supporter and he’s always been backing me for the National Team so he’ll be wearing a USA jersey."

  • The United States either will or will not play Germany in June. Paperwork is a bear:
  • Thought of the day:
  • Brooke Tunstall catches up with Bob Bradley, who recently completed his first season as a manager in Norway. Good stuff.
