For the second time in a row, Luis Silva finds himself sitting at spot 101 on the ASN 100. In other words, he's not on it, but he's oh so close. The drama!

But at least he's not Michael Farfan, who got into the 100 in May only to drop off in our latest rankings. Is it better to fade away or not show up at all?

One surprising new entrant is Shane O'Neill. The Colorado Rapids midfidler-turned-center back showed well in the recent Under-20 World Cup, but it's impressive to see him make such a large leap on the list. Could he move into the top 100 in two months time? More strong showings in Major League Soccer will certainly help.

The full list of men who just missed:

101. Luis Silva
102. Michael Farfan
103. Eddie Gaven
104. Zak Whitbread
105. Sam Cronin
106. Chad Marshall
107. Conor Casey
108. Shane O’Neill
109. Davy Arnaud
110. Danny Cruz
