Should be auto-starts based on quality alone: Howard, Jones, Bradley, Dempsey.
Defense: Beasley has shown good form recently. Gonzo-Besler combo worked well earlier in the year. Cameron is the best option at RB right now, even if he's out of position.
Midfield: Davis showed confidence against Belguim and should be credited at least for that.
Forwards: The Altidore question is a huge one. Does he need more time to mesh with JK? Maybe. But he's just not making any progress and at a certain point EJ should be rewarded for his quality play. Herc is a natural pairing up top with EJ.
