Trying to pick a team I think is realistic but also what I would go with... I don't think Klinsmann will use a 4-4-2 so this is it. I think we need an athletic back line so I slotted Edu in for Goodson. That leaves a space in midfield (with Jones out); I think we need someone who can break up attacks but isn't afraid to get forward once in a while so Beckerman is the perfect fit there rather than Kljestan. I trust Johnson more than Zusi to provide energy and get stretch Mexico out on the counter so I slotted him in on the left and moved Gomez, who should be able to handle the Mexicans' pressure better than most over to the right. This lineup gets Dempsey and Altidore somewhat close together which should be a real plus.
