I think JJ's injury allows for Edu to take over. IMO he's always had a better partnership with Bradley than Jones ever had. The injury also allows Goodson to keep his spot as I was looking for Cameron to go back to CB for the Mexico game. In a way, Edu's gonna play so far pay that you might think the US is playing a 5-man backline. He's going to shore up a lot of space that Gonzalez and Goodson may not be able to take on due to their size and lack of comparable mobility to Edu. Should be interesting to see if Beasley and Cameron are allowed and able to get up in attack if it appears Edu's doing enough with the CBs to keep Mexico's attack in check. If that happens I'd love to see what Bradley can do and really take control of the attack creation.
