Okay, from the back forward. We know Howard is starting, so no debate there. Let's keep a relatively consistent back four, save for my inserting Besler at left back. I want to see what Fabian will do higher up the pitch. I am benching Bradley, as he has performed well below my standards for him. Give Perry Kitchen a chance to sit in front of Brooks and Cameron. Nagbe (I want to see what he can do for the full 90) and Bedoya (why not) ahead of Kitchen. Fabian has been discussed. Wood is inserted to run the channels. I also want to see Pulisic for a full 90. Dempsey has played well, but I want to see what our young guys can do in such a situation. I do not like the 4-4-2, as I feel it leaves too much open space centrally (as we have played it anyway). Defensively, Fabian (left), Bedoya (right), and Pulisic (centrally) can create the illusion of a 4-2-3-1. Long explanation, but we shall see how this goes.
