Great job — dave
moving the team in the right direction. it is ok to ruffle mls feathers — jeff
He's the right guy for the job! — Josh
he's a man with a vision. stay the course. — jose
US is going the right direction under Jurgen. — Robo
right man for the job. he's also uber competitive and we need that. too many people are complacent with being good in concacaf but not globally — klinsy
he's awesome!! — chum lee
Klinsmann is not a Top 10 or even Top 20 coach in the world. The US hired him to restructure the USMNT to look more like a European Power. HE has not been able to do so because of our player pool. Our pool is brutal and when we do have some one great we cannot develop them because JK calls them up to quick. I don't dislike JK but he has to change his tune before no one wants to play for us. We are regressing because we don't have that same tactical feel for the game. STARTING A NEW CAMPAIGN #GETUSPEP, WE WANT PEP GUARDIOLA — Arturo Del Rio
Klinsmann is terrific, the team is regressing! — Vladimir Putin
Leaving Landon off the we team = #bestdescisionever! Landon got soft and didn't deserve anything, he was an entitled little b. — Your mother
Brilliant! It's a work in progress that will bare fruit in the near future. — George A Chacon
Patience. We're building for the future. — Alex
Can I choose the same square as chum lee? I love Jks passion & vision for US soccer. — JJ
We have made more progress and layed more sustainable foundations in the last 2 years than there was in the last 20 years — Joni
<<<<< I agree with what Joni said. People were mad about LD, myself included. But he has challenged our players at every turn and made them better for it. He is working with football at the grassroots level. Also past coaches have seen this as a cushy part-time job. To Klinsmann it is a full-time, year-round, every-second-of-the-4-year-cycle type of gig. And we need(ed) that bad. USA! — Sean C
The future of American Soccer is in the hands of foreign multi-nationals...and Jurgen has proved he can do an excellent job recruiting them. Lets hope we can play better in the upcoming years with this new crop of young talent. — Nick
Anyone still upset about the Landon Donovan thing shouldn't be allowed to cheer for the USMNT. Klinsmann won a World Cup, Landycakes never did. I'll take Klinsmann — Funklord
At times I've watched games under JK, especially friendlies, and think, "This is a train wreck!" Specifically a stretch in late 2012-early 2013. However, as bad as they look at times, JK has the ability to have this team look entirely different when the games matter. As much as I want to see the team play well every time out, it's hard to argue with the success the JK has brought (Gold Cup, 1st in the Hex, advanced out of group play in the WC). While it hard watching some of these friendlies, I constantly remind myself that this is just how it is under JK, and that he's seeing what he has. — JackCaz
tine needed, but like the youth teams — eddy
If you want to be the best, you've got to exhibit some humility, and let the best teach you. Jurgen has been kind enough to take US International football under his wing. — Dhannë
The Perfect Manager at the Perfect Time ... No other manager can do more for all levels of the USSF than JK ... And, he is the perfect manager to make the US a 'harder' side and not the side that has to hold-hands with LANDON or CHARLIE DAVIES just because the media says so ... DANKA JURGEN!! — Sammy N.
Best coach we've had in a while, he's challenging the group and the mentality of the sport in the US, hope he gets another 4 years after 2018! — Jt
The short sighted have no idea what JK has already done for the long term development benefit of US soccer. — Short passes
Fanfuckingtastic — Jurgen Klinsman
Great coach — J
Do we really think another coach would have done any better? It's going to take a lot longer than 4 years to make any changes. He's willing to bring a lot of players through the system. Next World Cup is make or break though. Crash out and he's gotta go, make it to the semis or finals and give him an open ended contract! — Andrew Stoltzfus
Huge kilnsi fan! Job well done so fa so good! — Simon Borg
Jk is the best. — Mike
He's changing the culture and direction of our program. We're getting more depth, improving tactically and raising our ceiling. Thank u Sunil and Klinsi for not listening to Arena, Donovan and Lalas. — Brian Schmidly
he is who he is.. and he is the best person for US Soccer right now. Lets get the most out of him for the next 4 years! — beto
He's excellent, but much of what he's promised hasn't come about. Soon he'll have to start making good on his promises. — Bon Iver
nice group of young vets will be around for 2018 to mix in with this next generation coming through, so i think he will have the pieces he needs to work with. i like JK alot. — NC
He has the resume. He has the craft. He is what the US needs for 4 years, or more. — Gary
i love him!! — reba
continually progressing, bringing in youth, makes the tough, not always popular decisions — max
Moving forward! — Dve
Klinnsman has improved the squad through recruiting and re-energized the program. He takes a lot of the attention, which allows the team to focus on the job at hand instead of the media. I like where things are headed... — Alex
Jurgen is quality. The US press does not understand the process of becoming a quality side. You have to lose games against superior opponents to become great. I hope that Gulati understands this and stands behind him. It will be one of the few things Gulati has done right in his tenure. — Stephen
I love the energy around the USMNT as well as the comprehensive approach to improvement. — Alan
He's doing a great job - it's tough because he's not used to playing without world class players but he had been pretty game about it and put up with a lot of criticism, some fair, some not fair. I look forward to seeing what he does with the team over the next four years. — Wendy
If your not willing to give your all....you wont be there.....That's how it should be....It's no longer good enough to just make the team..You must produce. — Bobeto
Less kick and chase soccer. More wins. Good — Kevin
ROTATE THE DAMN SQUAD — Aron Johannsson
I really don't think we could find anyone else better and I think were honestly really lucky! — KingYoungJesus
He is who we thought he was. As long as we continue to emphasize youth development in this country under his direction, I continue to be encouraged by his input on US Soccer as a whole. — BDM
Wish he kept LD on the WC roster, but for the most part he's been great. Challenging the status quo here in America is the most important thing he is doing. I hope Us Soccer follows suit — Steve Slumber
Great job getting dual nationals. Great commitment to the long term. Willing to take risks (J Green sub in WC). And especially love the ousting of Donovan. — Jeff
Love him. Got us through the hardest group weve ever been through. Improving style of play and talent pool but still willing to be pragmatic when necessary. Perfect combo. Willing to go against the grain in roster selections and they tend to pay off more often than not. Amazing recruiter. I have nothing to complain about yet. — wandmdave
if people want soccer to become something important for the american people whether it be MLS, USNMT or both, someone has to challenge the players and the way of thinking. We know for a fact, that certaint European models work. Ours obviously does not. Allow Klinsy to implement these ideas in people. Make them think and learn a different way. This was never going to be a 2-4 year project. I'd be surprised if he's not here for another 4 years after Russia. This is going to take a lot of time and effort on all front. — Davin
He has the highest winning percentage in the history of U.S. soccer and got us out of an extremely tough group in the WC. Without him we might not have players like Boyd, Johansson, Green, Brooks, or Chandler on the team. I like what he is doing and the direction of the team. Bad results happen, every game cannot be perfect. — Kyle
:) — p5c
Klinsmann and the USMNT are Brutally offensive. Musta Krakish. Musta Krakish. Awaken, awaken, awaken. Klinsmann will awaken the USMNT in a brutal offensive fighting force, bent on the destruction of the world powers of soccer. Klinsmann is brutal. — Nathan Explosion
great so far. — hgstuffindaddy
He' clearly progressed throughout his time and is one of the best inter nation coaches right now in my opinion, with the right decisions, he can turn the US into a top 10 team by the 2018 WC — Dave
He's doing well with the player pool he has to work with. — Two Daft Yanks
Let's figure out what the future of US soccer really is. — Andy
Team has been making tremendous strides forward. If you can't see that, you're new to the game or way too attached to the old guard. — Betamale
Usa usa usa — Lance
Taking us to semis in 2018 — Stacytpfeiffer
Am I the only one who remembers 2006?!?! — Eacret
he's tits! — roseanne arnold
Quite good. I remember a conversation we had over lunch. I had the BLT sandwich with fries. Washed it down with a milkshake. — Ives
About right here. — Adam
Klinsman is doing a good job, Team is going in the right direction. I'd like to see what we can do with some of the young guys coming up. — Gunner
Most sense of purpose of coach and team. — Max
Modern Age of US Soccer has come about because of the changes implemented by Klinsmann. — Just Pants
Klinsmann has the team moving in the right direction and has been making the correct decisions on who to pick for the team. — Chet
Like the direction of team, wish he chose Landon for the worldcup. He did not even pick as an alternate. Wish he would use more MLS players that are playing for the teams in place of oversea players who only play half the time. MLS has guys that can destroy opponents on defense. Not sure why he does not give the MLS players more of a chance to make the US roster. — Jim
I think JK knows what he is doing, but the results on the field are distressing. — Justin K
Pleased so far. Love the fresh faces in the most recent squads. — Ben H.
Modern Age of US Soccer. It is about time. — Just Pants
I believe Jurgen Klinsmann is the perfect man to take US Soccer to a level it needs to be. I have always felt that the American soccer athlete is a lot like the German- big, tall, fast, smart. The German model is the one we need to emulate and adapt to our needs. Go Klinsmann!! — Will Rack
Klinsmann has done most things right so far. The program is in good hands. — Connor
His roster selection has been unsettling, at times I wonder if he actually has a plan. But, at the same time, I love how he is flipping US soccer on its head -- it's time for us to feel a uncomfortable. I believe he can lead us to higher level, but he needs to start turning the corner soon. — Caleb J.
get paid — jizzy
I like the direction Klinsmann has put the US especially with youth development, and has proven he is a capable coach before and with the US - however, while he needs to do what is best for his team his comments about MLS aren't good for US Soccer as a whole. Hopefully he'll work with them better in the future. — Alex Morgan
b — a
Team looks better on TV, our game is more fluid, and Klinsmann is a great face for us. That said, we played some crummy football in Brazil...... that said, the dude makes some good & timely substitutions. — MyOwnBobbleHead
Making the correct progress. — TJRomanello
jk — nat
I think Klinsmann is trying to find the identity of the USMNT for years to come. He's on the right track, but I believe he needs to not just motivate them, but inspire his players to push themselves to be World Class. — Tom
Seems well-suited to the US's aspirations (grow from a regional power into a legitimate WC contender). Whether he will actually achieve that is less certain. Positives: Great vision for what he wants the US to become and how to get there. Good recruiter of dual nationals Good motivator Makes impactful substitutions Aware of at least some of his limitation and takes steps to address Negatives: Poor roster construction hampered US at WC. MNT hasn't yet played his desired style against quality opposition. Seems unable to work with players whose mindset doesn't match his ideal. Rewards those whose mindset does to the detriment of the team. Effectiveness of mid-game changes is often due to choosing the wrong personnel/tactics to start the game. Not a tactician. — Pwyll
Revamping US Soccer for the better. It's all about results in tournaments. — Tim
It will take time, but we are headed in the right direction. Love the youth tryouts for the Czech friendly. — Mary
The team has not won a game in six months — Andrew

keep up the good work:) — nani
I like seeing him try and develop younger players because they will be cruicial in future world cups. That being said, we should be judging him more on the next World Cup. If there is not any progress, it might be time for a change. — Mike
Klinsmann has raised awareness in US Soccer and blooded new talent that has already bore fruit. His recruiting is tremendous. Roster selections often baffle, though. — Shoeless
Doing wonders for US Soccer infrastructure. I hate to lose our identity as Americans - will, undeniable belief - in exchange of pure soccer. — Mike Boland
I think Klinsmann is fine. I just want to see it translate to results now in this world cup cycle. We -should- be in a major tournament every summer this cycle... Gold Cup, Copa America Centenario, Confed Cup, World cup. We need to start putting in consistent performances against the top teams. — Justin
He'll make some really perplexing decisions that go against the grain (and common sense) but somehow it's worked out better than originally anticipated. Nowhere near perfect, but the results have been than I would've thought. — 425Rainmaker
Doing great, despite the haters. — Rotocamel
Not afraid to shake things up and got a successful result in the Group of Death. Youth Org in USSF is being upgraded (most important thing he's done so far), along with improvements to the coaching training! JK has it moving in the right direction. — Nasty Nate
a — Kevin
he is the best — joshua kuffour
inconsistency is a problem. Is he fair to players? Are expectations clear and consistent? — sunshine
What we need right now, but not the long-term solution — Eric Brewster
Klins has done well evaluating new talent, bringing in fresh faces. Team needs to start playing less defensively and more offensively, like Klinsmann said his goal was. — Jay M.
US is transition as our players become more technically skilled. He is the right coach to move us up. The defensive counter game of the past was for a lesser skilled squad. US soccer is getting better — Ken
The youth talent gets better every year, partially because of JK's recruiting. — dick
Klinsmann doesn't seem like a tactical wizard but he's done pretty well with the big picture. Talent pool is improving before our eyes, reorganization of lower levels is a plus, and the USMNT will be a factor, if not a true contender, in the Copa & Moscow. — Juan
Klinsmann is exactly what the US needs right now. He is creating the next generation of American soccer stars, and has already left us in a good position for 2018 and 2022. — Josue Moreno
Future plans and youth initiatives definitely good, but have to wonder about player selection — SR
Not bad, my biggest complaint is the perplexing roster decisions from time to time that have backfired on occasion. — Mark
Not bad, but makes stupid roster decisions and doesn't rotate the squad enough. We could have gems on the bench and no one can know. — Blah
I like the way they are going, the results aren't their so far this calendar year but I feel like this is part of a bigger plan — Rick
Good with motivation and tactics but his player selection needs some work, especially with the new wc cycle coming up. — Yedlin's Spurs
I like the direction of the squad. I'm more optimistic now than I was after 2010. The talent pool has expanded and that can only mean good things for the future of the USMNT — Danny
frindlies aside. I think he needs to adjust his master plan to account for our poor defensive options — harv
He's got good energy. He's got good vision. Is the team improving? Well, it was. I don't think this year (aside from progressing through the group in the World Cup) has been good. Hopefully we rebound from that. — Adnan
I believe the US is certainly heading in the right direction, come 2018 we will see what JK intended for this team — RobStyles21
I initially though including youngsters Green, Yedlin and Brooks on the WC roster were bad moves but they all played out incredibly. Still think Davis over Donovan was personal and the wrong decision. Also the team really lacked depth and striker when Jozy went down with the bad hammy. Would have liked to see EJ out there. All in all it seems like he knows what he's doing. He's been able to perhaps steer talent that could have went to Germany over onto the US Squad. — Ben
agree with the below square — NC
I still have a little faith he's just tinkering right now and he'll frustrate the shit out of us when he brings his A game down the road — Pat
eh — NC
Time will tell. He did get us out of the group of death in 2014 thanks to his coaching, substitutions and his Germaricans. Lets see how he does in 2018. Surely, the U.S. does not have the quality to be a top contender yet. We have the technical ability of baby elephants, nothing can overcome that no matter who the coach is. 3 more years, 3 more years, 3 more years! — Brent Storrs Surf Soccer 78
Like the direction the team is headed, marked improvement each year. JK is a great motivator but his roster decisions got me twisted, yo. — B
I agree with JBD the block below me. I don't think our players get enough credit in Europe and we've seen that with Bradley coming back to US. Overall, Jurgen has made more positive things happen during this 3 years... 1) 10 year youth developmental season, 2) 2013 US record for wins w/ USMNT, 3) Beat Italy, Bosnia-Herz., Mexico in Azteca, and tied France. 4) provided more competition to make squad, 5) recruited better talents to USMNT, 6)made more great subs in WC2014 than less (Yedlin, Brooks, Zusi, and Green), 7) Jurgen has helped develop a new coaching philosophy for youth development with help of others like Claudio Reyna, 8) US now has a U21 team that practices together due not making Olympics, 9) Jurgen stressed the importance of our youth system, and 10) Jurgen has more recruiting battles for players than lost (F.Johnson, D. Williams, Morales, Green, Brooks) and there could be more to follow. Tell me again what he's done wrong??? If not bringing Donovan was his biggest error, it doesn't bother me because no one player is worth all the things Jurgen has done to help US reach it potential for the future. — Adrian
gut feeling — chris
With the talent our WC team had, I found it hard to understand how overwhelmed we looked against Belgium. Could've been travel, the brutal group matchups, but there is no excuse for allowing a constant barrage of shots. Belgium was carving us up with 2 and 3 passes. Too Easy!!! Overall though, there is a positive vibe in the program. Things appear to be moving in the right direction. — Daniel
I feel the mentality is shifting and unified within the youth ranks, creating lineage in development. — Kevin
Doing well despite lack of talent. Need to get back on track in friendlies. — CaesarDavegustus
i couldn't stop thinking how nice it would have been to have LD in Natal...or Boyd. not having a backup plan for jozy was a mistake. i like that we have many people coming in the system. but the world still doesn't respect our fieldplayers. only yedlin appears to be getting an overseas contract of mean. — JBD
go away JK — cc
The team is yet to really take a step forward but that's going to take time. He's at let done what expected so lets see what happens. — Jack
If you are experimenting, say so. If you are losing sight of the path, better work it out quickly. Time to settle on a back line and get on with it. — Brad
I find it interesting (funny, sad...) that we continue to convince players from Europe that they are from the US and sign up for the USMNT. But I feel that we are making steps in the right direction. MLS clearly is not a good feeder for international players - there isn't enough quality competition. But until we can get enough US players starting (STARTING) in the 5 major Euro leagues, it may be the best we have. — Tommy
I'm a fan, overall, of his body of work and how he has put soccer on the map in the US and beyond. Klinsi challenges the status quo and pushed people outside their comfort zones. In a performance based job/industry, that's what you need. I like it. — Jared Goldbergstein
. — max
Eh. — luke
World Cup ended at expected point. Younger teams looking strong. Willing to shake it up. — Jason
Yup — Jello
It's neither an easy nor a quick process to turn a national team that has only existed for a bit over two decades. He has made a very large number of head-scratching decisions (No LD in Brazil being the obvious one). I think JK is beter suited to a technical director position. He is not exactly a "player's coach", which is odd since he himself was such an illustrious player. He's a great big picture guy and I think he has been the impetus for some good changes on the youth development side, but tactically I am not sure if he is the answer. — Taylor
I like the direction of the team, but I don't think it's necessarily all Klinsmann's doing. — CJH
I — Jacob
More dynamic than Bob Bradley. Judgement is suspect though. — John McGeachy
Jurgen is the best coach to come to US. — Reed
<---- I have a crush on him — Steven
The United States is deeper overall and is technically better overall. We do not have have world class players yet, and until we do, we will only make progress in small steps. But look where we were in 1994 and compare that to where we were in 2014. — Wausau football
yeah — jim
This team is just 'ugh' at the moment. — Drew
d — D
I just like the younger group coming up. — Jorge
Need — Shane
The fact that Belgium dominated the Ball and we only lost by one has to show something. This team has come so far since he took over, and the improvements in player quality are noticeable. However, his detrimental and flat-out rude comments about the MLS is detrimental to the league's development, and if he really wants to get the best out of his players, he needs to help make the investment in MLS that so many other Americans already have — Matthew
Too soon to tell. — Xose
I watched us play. We played like minnows. Maybe JK can fix it; maybe he can't. — KXRTI
TO they guy next to me. Go forth and die. Klinsmann is brutal. — Nathan Explosion
He has a great smile but only knows the duties of a forward. — Robert Gordon
Like him as a cheerleader/spokesperson/recruiter for US Soccer, but as a coach he's no better than his predecessors. — Dan
Bob Bradley did manage to win the group. — Christopher
<---- Christopher, that group was weak as f..k and you know it. This was a much tougher group, and we easily could have won it, had we not conceded late against Portugal — Matthew
the team is no better off then we were four years ago. promises unfulfilled is his legacy at this point. — Mike DeCicco
Cautiously pessimistic. — David
About the same as under Bradley. Like the breadth of players, like the idea of direction to go, don't like the lack of actual movement going there. — Barrett
The Team sucks. My coach taught me to practice like I'm playing the last meaningful game of my life. Practice and friendly games are important. You practice and play in a system. You also develop and grow within that system. Klinsmann has not established a system which the players can grow into. He does not know how to develop and field a cohesive team. He may have great ideas but is ineffective at communicating these ideas to his players. As a result they look lost, tired, confuse and disjointed of the field. It's time for a change. — robbo
Good recruiter and perhaps one day president. Average coach. As Phillip Lahm said He is tactically inept. — Red
Klinsi plays favorites too much and is a bit of a control freak. Its hard to see that we are making any progress. 8 years is just too long. — Strider 257
Biggest knock to me is his miscues when it comes to player selection. — Joseph
He has consistently disappointed from a tactical standpoint. — Sage
The team hasn't improved since the world cup. Klinsman is great at scouting and hyping young prospects and then playing them for the last 10 mins of the game. — Nuetral.
win the gold cup — jose-luis
like what hes trying to do but i feel hes is rushing it thus casuing the team to look really poor. Im not sold on Jermaine playing D. it just looks more work defending.Klinsi should take the mantle of technical director and pass on the coaching duties to Tab Ramos — Henry
I like the players that america is producing, but im not on board with JK yet. In WC14 we played four games and were outplayed in three of them, and one of our best players was left at home. And as a WC coach, being able to motivate your players is the key. By saying things like "were not going to win" just pisses me the f---- off!!! — tyrese
Things are just not going well. — Crowman
Starting to really sour on the guy lately. I actually think he's good to have in a tech director/recruiter role, but I really am shaky on what he's trying to do on the field. I have nothing against experiments on occasion, but don't love throwing ALL the crap at ALL the walls, ALL the time. 3-5-2? Diamond? Bradley as #10? Jermaine as CB? Stop it, already. Meanwhile we play as reactively as we ever have, going all the way back to Bora in '94. If we lose the Gold Cup, boot Klinsi upstairs. — Reid
Team is yet to really find much of an identity or style. Goals being given up in the last 10 minutes has also become a problem. Tactical shifts and subs seem to leave players out of position. — Jack
Unconvinced of the direction. — E
Starting to lose faith but these are friendlies — Jeff
He can find young talent but weak with game tactics and fitness show he isn't up for the job. — j
Tactics never seem to fit personnel. Team tries to play more possesion which is good, but results really haven't changed much over his tenure. The Gold Cup should tell the tale. If they don't look good and don't place well (runners up minimum) Jurgen should be booted like Bradley or on the hot seat. — Kevin
Visionwise: Don't believe the USMNT has a problem with "mentality." I don't get Jürgen's 4 year obsession with it. Tactics-wise: Don't like seeing our CF always disconnected from our MF. — Fredo
Seven years is a long time. — Noses Malone
We have not played more timid unattractive football since 1998. — Grunt
k — k
Poor selection. Doesn't develop talent but calls in faves and collects chits from Euro clubs instead. — Excellency
Sure, we made the rd of 16, but we got run off the field in every game except Portugal. If Ghana had been able to hit the broad side of a barn, if Timmy Howard had been just that wee bit less heroic, we'd be talking much differently than we are today. Our '14 WC team was the worst team we've had that made the knockout stages in the modern era. '94, '02, '10 all better. — Christopher
Don pardo — Fred phelps
hate him. Never forgive him or Sunil for WC14 — OSGalaxy
He's better suited for fashion director. — EE
b — a
UGGGH. What's going on with this team. — Jerry
I don't think the team is really regressing, however I don't think Klinsmann has the full attention and respect of the players. If the US doesn't perform well in the Gold Cup, I think it's time for a change. Even so, I would like to see him remain as technical director. — Gabriel
I like the roster, hate the coach. This team has potential, but Klinsmann is doing his best to suppress that. — cruyff
He sux. He makes you work for things and stuff. Past performance (like 5 years ago) is totally ignored, and way too much emphasis on physical fitness. — Landon D.
I think we've all become biased thanks to a series of late concessions in friendlies, and also from the World Cup. Had Wondo put that ball away against Belgium, or had we held against Portugal for a win and moved further in the world cup, I don't think Jurgen's job is in jeopardy. However, with the Timbers struggling in MLS this season, and also not making the playoffs last season, Caleb Porter may be out of work. While I think Klinsmann deserves more time, and an ability to prove himself this summer in the Gold Cup, and I personally thinks he deserves one more world cup, If more disappointing results come, it may be time to make a change. Caleb Porter's style of managing and play could succeed well with the USA. I'd love to see him get a shot. but it's not quite time to make a change. — Matthew
Foo needs to be pressured. — Eder
The players and depth are improving but the coaching/tactics are terrible. Player selection is awful. How does Bobby Wood (doesn't usually make the 18 for a bad 2.Bundesliga team) get called up over Gyasi Zardes (14 goals in MLS)? Leaving Donovan off the WC team was a Steve Sampson level of stupidity. — Matt
hes ass — k
If his name was Jack Kingsman 90% of his support would be gone. — Binx
Ego is writing checks his non existent coaching ability can't cash — Jim
We need a change. — robbo1
We're no better off now (as the record attests) and gaining far more notoriety for conflicting (e.g. Landon Donovan, Don Garber and MLS, etc.) dialogues instead of play on the field. One World Cup victory, in a vastly overrated "Group of Death," is hardly astonishing. Does anyone really think that Klinsi's recruitment of dual-nationals will lead to a better 2018 outing? I mean that's how we're measured, right? — Jack Kennedy
I do not agree with his handling of Donavan. I truly think Donavan could have contributed a great deal more than Klinsmann gave him credit for. What World Cup is Klinsmann playing for. He says the one in four years, in four years do we hear that same song. Klingmann has some good ideas, not enough good ideas or frequent enough. He proved he was a pretty good player for Germany but they didn't think he was more than an average coach. — Craig Baker
His winning percentage is no better than the previous two managers + he's annoying = fire him please — WEB
iT'S ALL ABOUT jURGEN — STEVE
Coach is a joke and alienating his top players was the beginning to an inevitable end. — Fuck Jürgen
It's astonishing that we're not at the place that we should be under this coach...too many bad decisions and too many bad egos — Stefano
He should be fired for his childish and personal decision to leave Landon Donovan off the WC lineup. That was so clearly stupid and driven by self centered insecurity there is no coming back from it. — Randido
TIME TO GET RID OF KLINSMANN AND SUNIL GULATI — JOE HOPE
If this was Bob Bradley people would be calling for his head. Klinsi has shown nothing to me and the team looks more uninspired than ever before. — We need an American!
Anybody still think Landon Donovan isn't as good as Green, Davis, or Wondo? Didn't think so. — Jürgen is a clown
can't say i like the direction of the team when i have no idea what it is. can't say they are really regressing either because the player pool itself is expanding. I hate jk´s player selection methods and tactics. he has made a lot of major mistakes and gotten away with them because there is no media pressure on soccer in the usa. he reminds me of a used car salesman. shocked so many are satisfied with the job he has done...i guess that just means usmnt fans get what they deserve....a showboat cheerleader coach who is more flash than substance. — usmnt fan
go away JK — cc
Snake oil salesman. Narcisstic self serving politician. — TK
his leaving Landon Donovan off the WC team was childish and immature and will tar his legacy. He should have apologized and resigned after the world cup. — Randido
I hate both fuckboys Jurgen and Sunil for ruining US Soccer. I will never forgive them for leaving Donovan off the WC14 squad for Wondo and Brad Davis. — Disgusted American
I'm terrible. Seriously, to those who like me, do you not pay attention? Good thing USMNT fans are sheep and I won a WC, or else I'd already be on my way to ruin another program. — Jurgen Klinsmann
What has Klinsmann done that's exceptional? He won the Gold Cup? More like Landon Donovan won the Gold Cup. He went to the final 16 in Brazil? So did the two previous American squads. Other than the lack of progress, Klinsmann has done the following: 1. Did not put the best squad out in Brazil 2. Has continually disparaged his country's home league 3. Has failed to make progress at the American youth level. What have the young squads won? 4. Bragged about "beautiful football," but has continually relied on the old American counterattack for goals. 5. Has put out several teams just not prepared to compete in international friendlies. He's 100% hype. — Michael Del Muro
He's not an XOXO's coach, that he's proven. Nor is he a players' coach, his love affair with the media has proven that as well. USSF missed the mark. We deserved better. However those who like him tell me the koolaid tastes much better in Europe too. — JK Out
I'm tired of hearing him speak. — Fred
I hate how Juergen keeps pointing out how the mls is sub-optimal crap! Holy crap we get it, Juergen , please stop pointing out my hypocracy and making me look like a whining baby with a dirty diaper in my press conferences! — Don Garber
Snake oil. -Golazo — Golazo
I'm bored. — New York Red Bulls
He's a backstabber and lets Herzog make all of the actual coaching decisions that don't involve matching clothing or picking random players based on ego. — Not Brad
<-- landon is so right — bruce arena
Our only advantage (fitness) is now a weakness and nothing has been added — Scott C
Jürgen is not very good at player selection, player evaluation, tactics, man management, or motivation. — Fredo
Klinsmann is an egomaniac who's lack of live game tactical instincts have no place in American soccer. Fire Klinsmann, Hire American! — Skip
Somebody needs to fire this dipwad. He makes irrational decisions, cannot put together a progressive, ball-dominant lineup given the right piece, and talks shit on MLS. Not okay Klinnsman. GTFO. — KD
jk = JerK LD = LegenD aside from that though, JK is clueless about player selection. he is good at managing in_game though. Also, he should really shut his mouth when the cameras are on...talk about a windbag. — bob bradley
..... — Not Landon Donovan

Time to get a new coach and turn things around. Have to admit I have not been a fan since the hiring. Looks like I was right. — Shark
I should check these comments every now and then — John Godfrey
